Hakone
Hakone is a very famous spot for international visitors. In Hakone there are many world wide known sightseeing, and great amount of visitors from Japan and overseas come to visit it.
Hakone is a destination where its sightseeing can be found through a whole year.
We will introduce several among them.
Hakone Tozan Railway goes through the mountain, valley and trees, while various superb sites can be overlooked during the train ride. In June and July, the hydrangeas (aka Ajisai in Japanese) are in blossom and the train runs between the flowers. Also red foliage and golden yellow pampas grass can be seen. The stunning sceneries in different seasons are just enjoyable.
Owakudani is one of the symbolic sightseeing in Hakone.
Even now due to the volcanic plume, on the harsh land there white volcanic smoke is rising, and visitors can feel such overwhelming scene closely.
Visitors can also see the withered trees on the mountains of reddish brown color,
and observe volcano’s dynamic activities.
Hakone Ropeway is a cable car that connects the terminal of Hakone Tozan Railway and Lake Ashinoko.
While taking the ropeway, Mt. Fuji, Lake Ashinoko and Owakudani below can be overlooked.
Especially the view of Mt. Fuji from the ropeway is exceptional. Please make this experience of skywalk while appreciating the scenery of Hakone.
Lake Ashinoko is a huge lake in the west of Hakone.
The best viewpoint is the lakeside nearby Motohakone Port, and from there Mt. Fuji, Lake Ashinoko and red torii the three iconic sites can be viewed.
In winter when the air is so clear on the lake surface Mt. Fuji is reflected, and its reversible image can be seen.

Kamakura
The history of Kamakura dates back to around 1180 the time of samurai, and started to prosper since then.
There are lots of shrines and temples in Kamakura, which serves to know about old Japanese cultures.
Among them tea ceremony, Zen medication and sutra copying are very popular attracting many visitors for a hand-on experience.
