Furano
Furano is almost in the middle of Hokkaido.
In Furano lavender is especially famous for viewing at the sightseeing spots. Every year more than 1 million people of Japanese and international visitors get here for the view.
Among them Farm Tomita is very well known, other flowers fields include Saika no Sato, Nakafurano Choei Lavender Garden, NANAKA no Hanahata, Hinode Park Lavender Garden. Great amount of flowers and natural landscape can be enjoyed at these flower spots.

Biei
Biei is the town for its hills.
In Hokkaido the massive hilly terrain expands, beautiful idyllic landscape can be seen, and there is flower blossom, the healing atmosphere, all of which attracts many travelers from both Japan and overseas to visit.
At Shikisai no Oka in Biei great amount of flowers are blooming all over, especially the view of patchwork is stunning.
There is also sunflower field and very overwhelming.

Shiretoko
In July of 2005, Shiretoko Peninsula and its surrounding sea area were registered as world natural heritage.
Now for Shiretoko there remain areas in its nature that humans cannot access; precious plants, wild animals such as brown bear, Blakiston's fish owl, Steller's sea eagle and Hokkaido Yezo sika can be seen in this unexplored region.
By taking cruise ship Shiretoko’s cliff can be viewed by the shore, and the nature is really splendid.

Floating ice
In Hokkaido during winter the floating ice from Russia comes along, and the scene can be viewed from the Okhotsk seashore. There are the icebreakers Garingo and Aurora that be can taken for a cruise tour to see floating ice. The enormous sea is covered by floating ice and is extraordinary. If lucky you may meet seal or Steller’s sea eagle in the wild. Please have fun in winter’s the icy world.
