Korankei Valley

Korankei Valley is located in Toyota City of Aichi Prefecture. It is also said to be the most famous place for seeing autumn leaves in Japan’s Chubu area.
These autumn leaves of maple or cedar trees were being cultivated from the year of 1634.
Now for maple trees only there are 4000 trees. The red leaves from various species of maple trees are overwhelming. 
In Korankei Valley there are the suspension bridges such as the Taigetsukyo Bridge and Korankei Bridge. From on the bridge the overviewed red leaves are truly splendid.
There is also light up event during November, and Korankei Valley emerging in the night sky is full of fantasy.
In Korankei Valley the sceneries of four seasons can be enjoyed during a year. There are wild grass and flowers in the mountain in spring, dazzling greenery in summer and the gorgeous landscape of red leaves in autumn. Please fully enjoy it here.

Nagoya Castle

Nagoya Castle in the metropolis Nagoya is said to be the landmark.
Nagoya Castle was built by Japan’s shogun Tokugawa Ieyasu in 1612.
For this huge project, the stone walls that support the whole castle took great number of manual labor work to construct.
However the castle was damaged in the past and the current architecture was rebuilt in 1959.
The symbol of Nagoya Castle “Golden Dolphin” was made in 1612 during its construction. Pure gold was used for the “Golden Dolphin”.
Inside the park of Nagoya Castle, there are many flowers like sakura or hydrangea during four seasons to be enjoyed.
Especially when sakura blooms in spring the view is very attractive.

Irago Cape

Irage Cape is a view spot in Aichi Prefecture. Irage Cape faces Suruga Bay and the Pacific Ocean can be seen from here, and the sea view is excellent.
On the tip of the Cape there is a lighthouse, which is the symbol of Irago Cape.
The beautiful white lighthouse is also selected as Japan’s Top 50 Lighthouses. When it is the time of sunset the lighthouse looks the most appealing.
Other spots are also selected as Japan’s Top 100 Beaches, including Koijigahama Beach and Hinosekimon. From there sunrise or sunset can be overviewed and the sea view is just splendid.
